A Subaru WRT STI is expected to be unveiled at the New York Auto Show.
Subaru is expected take its time with the STI line-up as it continues to look to deliver more value to consumers.
The Subaru WRB STI was introduced in the U.S. last year and is Subaru’s first new model in the ST lineup since 2005.
The STI lineup consists of the WRX, WRX Sport, WRP, WRAT, WRZ, and WRX Premium.
Subaru has yet to reveal any specific pricing for the STIs.
Subaru will likely introduce the STi-V, WRB-S, and the WRP-V variants in 2019.
The Subaru RSV has yet another new Subaru model in 2018, but it will be the last new STI to be introduced in North America.
Subaru’s STI model lineup is based on the Subaru BRZ and Subaru WR-S.
The STI BRZ will be unveiled later this year.
The new WRP will also be announced later this month, but there’s no word on whether it will feature an all-wheel drive system or if it will come with a 6.2-liter V6 engine.
